5 Award-Winning Actors and Their Longines Watches

It started when she established a Golden Hat Foundation, a philanthropic corporation raised to support autistic children, and since 2015, Longines has been supporting this non-profit organization. Considered by Longines as the Ambassador of Elegance, Kate created excitement and pleasure for the watch brand as she visited Longines headquarter in Saint-Imier in 2016. 

In 2017, an exclusive and limited timepiece was presented by Kate, which she had personally chosen when she visited the brand’s headquarter. It is the Flagship Heritage by Kate Winslet, named after her featuring five pieces of gold. The benefits from the auction were donated to the Golden Hat Foundation. 

On one of her photos published on Longines website, she was wearing one of the Longines watches, the Longines Master Collection in Sunray blue dial with 12 Top Wesselton VS-SI 0.055 ct diamonds. The 38.50 mm round case is made of stainless steel and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It has water-resistant of up to 3 bar and an automatic movement type.

• Simon Baker

Simon Baker is an Australian director and actor in TV and film, known for his role as Patrick Jane in The Mentalist and Nicholas Fallin in The Guardian. His perfect personification of “elegance and attitude” within himself was very pronounced when he was officially introduced as a Longines Ambassador of Elegance in 2012 at the Prix de Diane Longines in Chantilly, France.

In 2019, Baker visited the Longines headquarters in Saint-Imier, where he was very delighted and pleased to meet the employees and to witness the complex processing of watch creation in the production workshops. Longines was also honored to see him pleasured on his tour in the brand’s museum where treasures are kept.

On his wrist during that time is the all-ceramic version of the HydroConquest collection, which was inspired by all forms of aquatic sports. HydroConquest 43 is in Matte black ceramic dial with silvered polished hands. It actively demonstrates wisdom, power, and grace, and its round case is made up of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, with several layers of anti-reflective coating on both sides.

In 2017, she became part of Longines world as Ambassador of Elegance. 

In 2020, the Chinese actress was present in the two major events of Longines in China: the reopening of Shanghai New World Boutique (renewed Longines Boutique) and the Grand Opening of the newest boutique in Lanzhou City. She was wearing the brilliant La Grande Classique de Longines 24 in the event in Lanzhou City. The model is in stainless steel and silver “flinque” color, which is likely to symbolize her because of her success.

• Jung Woo-Sung

Jung Woo-Sung is a South Korean big-screen actor, accomplished director, and producer notably known for his performance in the movies The Good, the Bad, the Weird, and Asura: The City of Madness. In 2018, he became part of the Longines family as Ambassador for Elegance. In the same year, he attended the reopening of Longines boutique in the Ocean Center Mall, Hong Kong, and in the afternoon of the same day, he was at the Longines Hong Kong International Races in Sha Tin racecourse. 

In 2019, Jung was honored to visit the company’s headquarters in Saint-Imier as he marvels at the fascinating history of Longines and the skillful work of the watchmakers. 

His featured watch is the Conquest V.H.P. in stainless steel and silver carved color. Conquest V.H.P. 41 has a round case made up of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, with several layers of anti-reflective on the underside.

• Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Indian actress and the winner of the Miss World 1994 pageant, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, has been an Ambassador for the Elegance of Longines since 1999. 

One of her collections is the Conquest Classic watch in white mother-of-pearl with the dial set with 11 Top Wesselton VS-SI 0.055 ct diamonds and stainless steel and red PVD coating strap.
